The firm built tradition acting with foreign investment, be it foreign investment in Brazil or Brazilian investment offshore. The firm is prepared to handle all the registrations before the Brazilian Central Bank through its online electronic system, mandatory annual follow up and updating, and to represent the client with any administrative issues involving the registration of foreign investments, applications for import and export licenses and matters related thereto.
The firm has also a solid formation with international banking, having acted to represent Brazilian issuers or foreign banks in any area of financing, whether in a simple straightforward loan to project financing to the issuance of securities for placement in private and public markets, registration before Brazilian agencies, drafting and preparation of the relevant agreements, offering memorandums, legal opinions and preparation of all
legal documentation required in such transactions.
The firm has also been involved in the implementation of agribusiness joint ventures between foreign investing funds and local farmers, rendering legal assistance in all phases of the project, starting with the drafting of MOUs, JV Agreements, acquisition of rural land, obtainance of crop financing, subsequent harvesting and sale of production.
