Edgard Silveira Bueno Filho, was born in Mogi Mirim, SP. Educational Background: Faculdade de Direito da Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie. Master’s degree in Constitutional Law from the Faculdade de Direito da Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo. Professor of Constitutional Law at the Faculdade de Direito da Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo for over 26 years. Former State Attorney of São Paulo. Judge of the Regional Federal Court in São Paulo, 1989-1995. Member of the Advisory Council of the Associação dos Advogados de São Paulo (São Paulo Lawyers Association), 1983-1989. President of the Associação dos Juizes Federais (Association of Federal Judges), 1993-1994. Author of the book “O Direito à Defesa na Constituição” (The Right to Defense in the Constitution) and studies published in specialized newspapers and magazines. Membership: Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil (Brazilian Bar); Associação dos Advogados de São Paulo (São Paulo Lawyers Association); Instituto dos Advogados de São Paulo (Institute of Lawyers of São Paulo), of which he is currently the Vice President.
